Genesis

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Namkum, Ranchi has started working in 1986 for Classes I to V in a temporary building. Later on in the year 2009 the school has been shifted to its own newly constructed building.

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Namkum is a Defence Sector Kendriya Vidyalaya situated within Namkum Cantt., Near Indian Lac Research Institute on Tata Road. It is 9 to 10 Km. from Ranchi Railway station and about 7 Km. away from Katatoli Bus Stand. Area of School Campus is 15 Acres. Classes run here from I to XII (Science, Commerce Stream and Humanities stream)
