Vidyanjali
The Indian government’s Ministry of Education launched the Vidyanjali program with the aim of boosting education nationwide by involving the business and community sectors in classroom instruction. Through this program, schools would be able to engage with a wide range of volunteers from the Indian diaspora, including NGOs, corporate institutions, young professionals, retired teachers, retired government officials, retired professionals, and many more.
By registering on the Vidyanjali portal, alumni of educational institutions, scientists, government and semi-government officials, retired military personnel, self-employed and salaried professionals, homemakers, Indian diaspora residents, and any other organization, group, or company in the government or government aided schools of their choice pan-India can facilitate volunteer contributions. Volunteers who are interested can participate in educational, co-curricular, and extracurricular activities by lending their expertise and skills or by contributing resources or assets.
