Through the idea of state/UT pairing, the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat program seeks to improve communication and foster understanding amongst citizens of various states and union territories. In the areas of language instruction, culture, customs & music, travel & dining, sports, and the exchange of best practices, among other areas, the states engage in initiatives to foster a consistent and organized cultural connection.
